Players must live within the Metropolitan City of Sydney. All players will have to submit their current suburb of residence, and eligability on grounds of geographic position will be determined by the Assassin Master.
Players must keep to the Sydney area. In the event of someone moving state/country, or having more than two weeks holidays outside of the Sydney area, the player may be disqualified by Assassin Master.
To enter the world of Assasins, players must give their contact details to Assassin Master, and must also present a copy of a recent photograph. This photograph must be clear enough to recognise the person (note, a good photocopy of a passport photo/student ID will suffice).
At this time, the Assassin Master must also recieve the Entry form, signed and dated by candidate.
An entry fee must be paid upfront by the hopefull Assassin. This fee will go towards the grand prizes. This fee is not refundable.
All players must adhere to any guidlines and restrictions made by the Assassin Master. All disputes, desicions and rule changes made by the Assassin Master are final.
A player may resign from the game at anytime. However, the fee is non-refundable.
Rules on killings
The killing ritual consists of the Assassin touching the player with the weapon, while chanting the "killing phrase".
The kill is only valid if the Assassin says the killing phrase properly, if they are out of earshot and visual field of anyone, and if they are carrying the target's contract.
Failure to adhere to any of the latter conditions will result in a non-kill. The Assassin is still assigned the same target.
For a kill to be valid, the Assassin must contact the Assassin Master no later than 36 hours after the kill. The kill will not be official till the Assassin Master has registered it in their records.
In the event of a disspute over the validity of a kill, the matter shall be turned over to the Assassin Master, who will have final say on the matter.
Attempts or failed killings should also be reported to the Assassin Master.
Rules concerning Privacy of Players
NO KILLING CAN BE PERFORMED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES
While target is in a Toilet Cubicle
While target is in a Shower
While target is in a situation where they are in danger.
In any of these cases, the Killer will be automatically disqualified from the game.
ASSASINS MAY NOT :
Steal items from targets, such as keys.
Break into target's domicile.
"kidnap" or otherwise take the target against their own will.
Use any form of violence to slay target, or to coherse target into a killing positioin.
Perform any activity that can be considered illegal by Police or by Univeristy Policy.
Again, in the event of any of these happening, the Assassin will be imidiatly disqualified from the game. Any controvesy in a kill will be dealt with by the Assassin Master.
Rules concerning Weapon
Weapon is essential in a kill. Without contact with weapon upon the victim, the kill is deemed invalid
Weapon will have size restrictions. These must be adhered to, or the Weapon becomes invalid
Weapon must be inspected by Assassin Master, to ensure that it complies with Weapon specifications.
Rules concerning Lifespan of game
The Game will finish when there is only one person left in play. There is no set time limit for this to happen.
However, to maintain the game to a reasonable length, the Assassin Master will impliment measures where they see fit. These measures are completly at the whim of the Assassin Master, and can change throughout the game.
In the case of the game dragging on too long, the Assassin Master may call a "Free For All". In this event, all contracts will be made public, and any remaining players are free to slay at will from these contracts.
At other times, the Assassin Master may loosen rules concerning the killings, in order to get more Assassinations.
Rules concerning the Terminators
The Assassin Master will at times hire the talents of a Terminator. The Terminator will be a person outside of the game, who will be given contract/s, and who may attempt to kill these players.
The Terminator will be evoked if the Assassin Master recieves no news of killing or attempted slayings in the space of a week. The Terminator will be given some of the contracts, and can attempt to kill one of these targets within the space between his summoning and the time of the next killing. Should he fail to complete and assignment before a kill is made by a player, then the Terminator will be neutralised, and all contracts will be taken from them.
The Terminator must adhere to the rules that apply to the normal players, however, they will not be hunted. The Terminator will recieve a bounty (the entry fee of the person that they have slayed).
The contracts that the Terminator will be given will be picked by the Assassin Master. Those players who the Assassin Master deems as innactive will be the first ones the Terminator seeks. After that, they will be given out in a Random, or even manner.
The Terminator will be chosen by Assassin Master. They may be Slayed Assassins (wishing to regain back some of their dignity!), or they may be members outside of the game. However, the Terminator will not be privy to more information than the normal player.
