Hmm, I just cut the nicest strawberries that you can imagine into lengthwise quarters. I’ve arranged them in a star pattern, making a small mount in the middle. I then got the cream, and whipped it up with some sugar for a while, then put it over the strawberries. Next, I take a potato peeler, and make little flakes of chocolate (generously), to put over the whole thing. It is on a wide plate, and I saved some of the strawberry tops, to give it a bit of color, in a decorative way. A spiral of chocolate sauce on the side, and cream around the edge of the plate (the stuff is soo incredibly nice by itself). Icing sugar over the top, for good measure, and viola.. there is my little treat for tonight. I might get out some port and have that, slightly heated in my hands.
