Not a long entry today. I can just hear Jimmy’s sigh of relief! Not a long entry because I have not all that much happening at the moment, except for one bit of excellent news.

It is just over 2 years that I started this journal. My, time does go by so quickly. I meant to write an entry about it on the 24th, which would mark the 2 year mark, but I forgot. I don’t think I’ve had a constant project that went on for more than a year, so it is quite an achievment.

May 26th, 2003

Where to start? I guess that I should probalby start with the weekend events. After a night of poetry at Nadz’s house and a evening in the wonderful company of Carmel, Lorien, Yanthe and Mark, I woke up bright an early on Saturday to catch the train to the Central Coast. Thus begins my moaning and bitching about the STA.

It is not oft that people write in their diaries because they are truly happy. Most entries seem (well, at least for me) to stem from either sadness or frustration with the world. The theory is that if people are happy, they have better things to do with their time than write in their diaries. So let today’s entry be a change from my usual crapiola.

I want to announce to the world today that I AM THE BIGGEST NINJA EVER!!!! There is no one more powerful than me. I sound my barbaric YALP across the rooftops of the world.

I am now officially in love with my lecutrer Micheal Hill. Not only does he ride his bike from the Art Gallery to Uni, but we had a great big talk and worked some stuff out. Here is a brief outline.

Feelings, nothing more than feelings.

May 21st, 2003

Well, from the comments from my last entry, I think it is safe to conclude that everyone agrees with my “Four Wheel Drives are the Tool of the Devil” arguments. I totally rule.

Just got out of an Arts Tutorial. I wonder if I can go through this whole degree without actually reading Lacan, Kant, Descarte, Marx, Hegel, Faucualt or anything on post-structuralism. Doing a pretty decent job so far. Unfortunatley I’ve had a pretty heavy dose of Freud, and I’m likely to have to read Baudrillard in the not too distant future. Still, I think I’m doing well.

May 20th, 2003

I am sick of this shit. One minute I feel like I can get a handle back on my life, and the next I feel like totally rabbit shit, and I can’t even move a muscle. I am sick of this lack of energy, these droning headaches, and this complete lack of money. My academic is going down the shithole fast, but I can’t do anythign about it, because I am too fucking lazy. Fuck this thing right up the shitter, and out again.

Let’s all go to the movies.

May 18th, 2003

I watched “A very Brady Sequel” yesterday, and some movie called “Fear” on T.V. The first I thought was an absolute masterpiece, while the second one made me feel violently ill. I even felt like going outside and punching the first person I met on the street, it was so bad.

Anyways, being a in a crabby mood, I decided to write this little rant, about another movie (Matrix II) that I saw on Friday. However, the latter was saved by being with excellent (not to mention gorgeous) company.

Am I crazy, am I dreamin’ am I marrying a demon?

It comes to my attention that both Nora and Sally have far too much in common. They are both born on the same year, both went through a “Xena” phase, both have questionable social tolerance, and they both graduated yesterday.

Federal Budget came out yesterday. Many a people are pissed off with it. I can’t say I know too much about these things, so I’ll agree with everyone elses opinions. My only comments from watching the bully boys on TV last night is that the leader of the Democrats is a shitty dresser. He has an expensive suit on, and he still looks wrong. I quite like the Democrats, it is just that this guy has no personality whatsoever. Even we he talks passionately against the tyranny of the governement, he looks about as enthused as road kill.

How frickin’ cool is this? I got an email today from work saying that I am getting paid. I take it this is some sort of recipt thing. Well, the money isn’t much, and probably not enough to get rid of the debt I have, which is a big problem. Huge, actually, because it means I can’t actually access any of the money I have recieved (it all goes straight to the bank). Still, in theory it is there, and doing SOMETHING. In another fortnight I might be able to use eftpos again… hazzah!

Fuckedy fuck fuck fuck. A plea to all those out there that may be able to help. It seems that not only has my internet connection gone bung, but my monitor has finally given up the ghost. It just won’t turn on any more. Basically, like it’s owner, it is sadly lacking in the “virility” side of life.

Does anyone have a monitor that I can use till I get money to fix mine? Please? There is so much sexsual chocolate in it for the person who can help me. Or something.

Well, Sally is really sick. She spent the better part of Thursday moping around all sick and stuff. We went to the doctors on Friday, turns out she has tonsilitis. Can someone please comment to this and tell me it ISN’T contagious? Otherwise, I think I’m in the shite box.

Poor Sally is sick. I mean really sick, enough not to see last nights Buffy. That is saying something. Still, she is rather adorable when she is sick, though it pains me to see her have to battle it.

May 5th, 2003

Well, the story of my life is “Of Mice and Men”. I set the alarm today to go off at 5:30. Now, either the alarm fairy’s (god bless Liz) turned it off, or I just forgot to actually activate the bastard. Either ways, woke up at 7:30, and madly rushed out of the house. Thought of waking up sis to ask for money to catch a train, then decided that she needed sleep more than I needed dosh. Went outside, and sure enough, it started to rain.

I have been doing a lot of riding lately. I remember a song that I used to like a long time ago, and I’d nearly forgotten about it. Here are some of the lyrics.

“Then we sat on our own star and dreamed of the way that we were, and the way that we wanted to be”.

I don’t know why, but that allways stuck.

May 2nd, 2003

So finally have a job. I went in to Appen today, and it seems that they have been trying to get hold of me for a while now. They said that my phone seemed to be out of order. I guess it is kinda my fault. I was gonig to tell them that if they hadn’t jerked me around and given me work before, I wouldn’t have gotten the damned thing disconnected, but I decided against it.
